Here, Hubert Duprat has been invited to use the museum in such a way as to usher in a new approach to the Lattara collections. He has thus devised a novel installation, specially produced for the occasion: a plaster wall 20 metres (65 feet) long which splits the space dedicated to the permanent exhibition from end to end. Like a receptacle for an accumulation of garden pots, this monumental sculpture acts as a “disturbing” counterpoint to the archaeological data.
