From 5 July to 15 September, the écomusée de l’avesnois is holding its summer exhibition titled Les Contaminations. The show is taking place in the four sites and involves four artists, one per site, who will present a selection of their works echoing the respective venues: Alice Pilastre, Yeun-Kyung Kim, Coline Rosoux, and François Génot. Some of them have deliberately chosen to develop their project by producing a specific work, sometimes calling on the artisanal techniques present in the Ecomuseum, thereby ushering in a new role for the structure: that of a place suitable for the artists’ experiments.
