Consisting of sculptures, installations, videos and sound and visual creations, the references of Thierry Liegeois’ work draw on different fields of creative work, popular culture and counter-culture. Metaphors of a social climate, the artist’s works create a special atmosphere that is vaguely threatening, with immersion in strange spaces, that often have an animal presence. At Angle, he showed works featuring the evocative power of sound and the expression of a certain violence —present in the sculptural procedures and through images and allegories.
