Pierre Malphettes, Blanc Néon

Symbolically, working with electric light is also thinking about awakening precisely where darkness remains, and making the half-light the seed of possibilities. Neon is not opposed to night, it makes it alive, just as it makes it bright. Although basically different, the works of White Neon seem to display their desire to make darkness the favoured place of their appearance. As if there were something there to be revealed more keenly. In the shadow theatre, light sculptures overtake each other and irradiate the world, grappling with the space of life.Guillaume Mansart, extrait Semaine no306
